Westwood House Care Home is purpose built on a quiet, one level site located in a secluded residential area of East Kilbride, central to all amenities and in close proximity to all main routes.

Westwood House is managed by Chris Coutts, a qualified and experienced Manager, supported by fully trained staff, day and night. Westwood House is registered with the Care Commission to provide nursing care for 47 residents on a long and short-term basis. We care for residents who are frail elderly, physically disabled and or suffering from mental impairment.

The Care Commission inspects the home on a regular basis for quality and standards. A copy of our inspection report or policies and procedures is available on request to the Manager.

The Grounds

The grounds are well landscaped to allow a welcoming and relaxed environment. The private gardens in a courtyard setting are accessed through french doors from our lounge and dining room, which allows residents to enjoy a tranquil and sheltered environment.

Amenities and Facilities

Westwood House has a wide range of amenities and facilities for residents which range from hairdressing, chiropody and physiotherapy to the provision of special diets. At Westwood we aim to cater for every requirement to ensure that all residents have a relaxed and comfortable stay.

The hairdresser visits weekly.
Physiotherapy by arrangement.
Single rooms and twin (5 only) rooms en-suite.
Individual personalised care to meet the needs of residents.
24hr care by highly trained staff.
